Mural "Caribbean Jungle Hideaway"

-  Salon at Cabier Ocean Lodge, Grenada

On the occasion of my 40th birthday, I fulfilled a deeply personal creative wish: I painted a large-scale mural in the salon of the boutique hotel

I was managing on the island of Grenada.

Perched spectacularly on a rocky peninsula directly above the ocean and flanked by two secluded beaches,

the lodge was immersed in Grenada’s world-famous, lush nature—renowned for its dense jungle and fragrant nutmeg plantations.

I wanted to bring this explosive tropical greenery straight into the salon.

The mural depicts a vibrant composition of palms and tropical foliage against a gentle sky, visually dissolving the wall and seamlessly connecting the interior with the paradise outside. It created an atmosphere of warmth, tropical tranquility, and authentic Caribbean joy for our guests. This artwork was both a celebratory gift to myself and a lasting tribute to a truly magical place.
