According to local legend, Istria was created by angels using leftover pieces of Heaven, resulting in a landscape of rolling hills, wide meadows, and a pristine coastline often called a "Green Mediterranean Oasis". This heart-shaped peninsula is celebrated for its lush, diverse scenery—including wildflower meadows, olive groves, and vineyards—that feels untouched.
